Our story
After implementing over 50 ERP systems for contract manufacturers, we saw the same pattern every time: 18-month projects, $1M+ budgets, and systems that still required spreadsheet workarounds for basic co-packing workflows.
The problem wasn't the implementation teams. It was the software itself. Every "manufacturing ERP" on the market was designed for single-product factories—not the multi-customer, multi-product chaos of real co-packing operations.
In 2021, we stopped implementing other people's software and started building our own. We began with EDI—the most painful problem—and proved that trading partner onboarding could take hours instead of weeks. That became EDIStack.
Then we built the rest of the ERP around it. Not by adapting generic software, but by starting from scratch with co-packing workflows as the foundation. Multi-customer scheduling, customer-specific BOMs, lot traceability—all native, not bolted on.
The result: ZoRoCo Packaging deployed in 5 weeks, saved 2 FTEs per plant, and achieved 100% EDI compliance from day one. That's not a demo—that's production.
