We spent years putting generic ERPs into co-packing plants. Then we built the one those plants needed.

After implementing more than 50 ERP systems for contract manufacturers, we saw the same pattern every time: 18-month projects, seven-figure budgets, and a spreadsheet still sitting next to the system for the work the software could not do.

The problem was not the implementation teams. It was the software. Every "manufacturing ERP" on the market was designed for a factory that makes its own brands, not for a plant that runs other companies' products on shared lines.

In 2021 we stopped implementing other people's software and started building our own. We began with EDI, the most painful problem, and showed that a new trading partner could be onboarded in hours instead of weeks. That became EDIStack.

Then we built the rest of the ERP around it, from co-packing workflows, not by adapting a generic system. Multi-customer scheduling, customer-specific bills, and lot history are in the product because that is the work.

A food co-packer went live in five weeks, saved two admin FTEs per plant, and hit clean retailer documents from day one. That is production use, not a staged demo.
